Abstract
Abstract photography, for me, begins when the subject stops being the most important part of the photograph.
I am drawn to line, shape, texture, light, movement, and rhythm—elements that can transform something familiar into something less certain. I am not trying to describe exactly what was in front of me. I am using what I found there to create something closer to what I imagined and felt.
These photographs invite the viewer to move beyond recognition and toward curiosity, contemplation, and personal interpretation.
